What Our Mentors Are Saying

Take Stock mentors consistently share how meaningful and rewarding this experience is — for them and for their Scholars.

"I love being a part of this program and really feel so blessed to have been paired with Harmoni! I look forward to seeing her graduate high school as her mentor!"

— Nichole H.

"It was very nice meeting you today Danielle! I’m going to like mentoring William. It’s not every day that you get to interact with a future NFL star!"

— Joe L.

"I am so proud of my mentee. She really shows up for herself at school. She’s an incredible artist, and we never have to figure out what to chat about — we always find something to keep us busy when I go to see her! She wrote me a letter and told me I was the best mentor she ever had … so sweet. She has asked if I will be her mentor in high school and is planning on attending West Florida 😊. I told her I’d be here!"

— Dayna B.

"I love this program and get just as much as do my Mentees! In fact one of my former Mentees reached out to me just today to say that he is doing well at PSC! It’s things like this that motivate me!"

— Joe L.

"I never wanted children of my own, but I’ve always loved kids and truly believe they deserve to be encouraged and supported as much as possible. Being a mentor gives me a chance to give back and help the next generation. My girls are amazing — and honestly, sometimes I think I get just as much (if not more) out of being their mentor as they get from being my mentees."

— Danielle R.
